This book presents a new programming model that can be used for the development of custom SAP applications. This design pattern offers the opportunity to structure ABAP programs in a way that meets the requirements of team-oriented development as well as effective maintainability and extensibility. Additionally, an object-oriented concept for a standardized and cross-application implementation of ALVs is introduced. This concept can be deployed easily and quickly, allowing for generic evaluation of any tables. In the first part of the book, the theoretical foundations of the ABAP Objects language are explained. Alongside a clear introductory guide, the focus here is primarily on the concepts of object orientation and their manifestation within the ABAP Objects language.
