Product details

Analog amplifiers have a wide range of applications in electrical communication technology. The challenges vary significantly when considering low-frequency, high-frequency, wideband and narrowband amplifiers, small-signal and large-signal amplifiers, as well as power and receiving amplifiers. This guide aims to provide a uniform introductory presentation of analog amplifiers within the communication technology volumes. The issues related to pulse amplifiers are not addressed. Semiconductor devices, such as bipolar and field-effect transistors, both as discrete components and as monolithically integrated circuits, are the fundamental elements of analog amplifier technology. The operational amplifier is regarded as a component and is treated and utilized based on its terminal behavior. At high frequencies and large power levels, vacuum tubes are still used.
