This book presents the common coil winding methods, their related technologies, and the associated automation techniques. It introduces the semi-finished products (wire, coil body, insulation) starting from the introduction as a forming joining process to the physical properties of coils. The process chain leads from the winding wire to various winding methods. Finally, the automation of these processes is described.
