Fluid mechanics is primarily learned, applied, and further developed by engineers. However, few engineers bring the mathematical knowledge and skills from their mathematics classes at technical colleges, technical universities, or universities of applied sciences that are needed today in fluid mechanics and other fundamental engineering subjects (mechanics of solid bodies, thermodynamics, heat transfer, etc.). In particular, there is a lack of the ability to apply the knowledge acquired in basic mathematics lectures to solve concrete problems. Additionally, the existing literature makes it difficult to acquire the desired knowledge and experience, especially in dealing with partial differential equations. Mathematical works often overwhelm engineers with excessive theoretical content and neglect practical applicability.
