Computer simulations of the behavior of many-particle systems at the molecular level provide insights into areas and processes that are difficult or impossible to access experimentally. The authors of this textbook offer an overview of modern methods for molecular dynamics simulations of many-particle systems. Special emphasis is placed on the description of programming tools. The applications cover the entire spectrum of statistical physics, including the study of mixtures of simple molecules and even simple types of chemical reactions.
