The approach described in this book and the experimental methods outlined aim to eliminate unsatisfactory firefighting actions for problem resolution. In explaining the statistical experimental methodology, there is a significant avoidance of mathematical derivations, with a preference for graphical representations. All methods are listed, regardless of whether they are advocated by Taguchi or Shainin. The strengths and weaknesses of the various experimental methods are clearly highlighted, allowing everyone to choose and apply the most suitable one for their specific application case.
