The title is based on the out-of-print book "Corn Snakes and Their Color and Pattern Variants." By separating the general section into its own book and adding 56 new and additional pages compared to the previous edition, it has been updated, textually revised, and nearly completely re-illustrated. In total, over 100 breeding forms are described in the text, and more than 200 variants are presented with 300 photos.
