Apart from the execution of the service, its remuneration is the essential aspect in the processing of a construction service contract. In order for the services to be compensated, they must be accurately billed, meaning their quantities must be precisely determined. Despite the extensive provisions in Section 5 of the General Technical Contract Conditions for Construction Services (VOB), contractual disputes regarding the correct billing of services are commonplace.
