This volume presents a teaching model that enables beginning players to play volleyball from the very beginning. Beginners want to play "real" volleyball as early as possible. Based on the requirements of the game, it presents a methodology that has been tried and tested in both coach and physical education teacher training, paying particular attention to small court games (1:1, 2:2, 3:3, 4:4). Experience gained over several decades with beginner groups in schools and clubs has resulted in a game teaching model that holds the key to exciting, joyful, appropriate and intensive volleyball play. The book is primarily intended as a methodological guide and offers a variety of organizational advice for schools and clubs. More than 300 game and practice forms have been selected to teach the basic volleyball techniques and game tactics.
