The bicycle is one of humanity's greatest inventions and the most widely used mode of transportation worldwide. Journalist Robert Penn rides almost every day, whether to work, to see friends, to shop, or to escape the world. In his late twenties, he cycled around the globe, covering 40,000 kilometers. However, the off-the-shelf bike he owns does not come close to matching his enthusiasm.
