Product details
Claus Mirbach is one of the first to start trading classic cars in Europe, and his shop, which opened in Hamburg in 1958, quickly became a well-known address. But Mirbach's second great talent is storytelling. Throughout his career, he has experienced quite a lot: a road trip through 1960s France, quirky customers and extravagant vehicles, a police chase through the dunes of Sylt, dealings with Saudi princes and Japanese businessmen, as well as hair-raising tours through the former Soviet Union. His memories are exciting, endearing, and often hilariously funny. You don't have to be a car enthusiast to enjoy his stories, but anyone who loves classic cars won't want to miss this book.
