The value of having temporarily engaged in a rigorous scientific discipline does not lie in its results, as these will be a vanishingly small drop in relation to the ocean of what is worth knowing. However, it leads to an increase in energy, in the ability to draw conclusions, and in the tenacity of endurance; one learns to achieve a purpose effectively.
