Demographic change is profoundly affecting nearly all areas of life. It is particularly impactful in the workplace. This qualitative and quantitative study examines the influences on the work ability of older employees in industrial companies in Saarland from the perspective of the employees themselves, taking into account the so-called soft factors such as work climate, satisfaction, well-being, participation, and expectations of leadership. Thus, the book is aimed particularly at HR professionals, works councils, and also at researchers who are dealing with demographic change, especially in the workplace.
