Film interpretation according to the documentary method - The student film "Melanchton - I think it's great!" - The teacher film "Chamber of Horrors or: Secondary School in Times of Revaluation" - The decoration of the institution of school - Reflection on the current educational discourse - The pattern of decoration in its relevance to school and educational theory. In what way is the behavior of the actors in the school determined by a structuring structure? What patterns of action can be reconstructed? Drawing on the documentary method, new insights emerge from the orientations of the two school actor groups, students and teachers: Both groups seem to be involved in a ceremonial role play, in which the currently promoted program of the school is performed.
