Economic associations must adapt to a variety of factors from their political, economic, and technological environments. Achim Lang analyzes the adaptation processes of German, British, and Spanish economic associations in the particularly dynamic information and communication sector. This includes examining both the lobbying and service strategies at the level of individual economic associations, as well as adaptation processes in the network structures of the sectoral association systems, and relating them to exogenous factors. It becomes evident that particularly the network structures have an influence on the strategic choices of economic associations.
