The methodology-oriented organizational consulting seeks to theoretically reconcile between specialized and expert consulting. This particularly emphasizes the reference points of organizational culture and the embodied approach to the members of the organization: Through metaphorical movement situations, the organization can be prepared to promote its critical self-reflexivity, to adopt a distance from its habitual daily practices, and to potentially open itself up to the Other. The Other, which is the engaged expert knowledge, can thus be understood not as a threat or paternalism, but as an opportunity for development.
