Economisering van de privésfeer?

Product details
In his theoretically and empirically exploratory study, Jens Bergmann investigates whether the societal changes in the private sphere, recently referred to as economization in sociology, are noticeable. After clarifying the concept of economization in various theoretical contexts, a qualitative analysis of household interviews on topics related to economization processes is conducted. The result of this analysis is that concepts of privacy are predominantly constructed with a counter-worldly claim in relation to economic interests.
