The work "Parental Educational Styles in Social Milieus" records the educational experiences and styles of upbringing of members from various social backgrounds based on qualitative, problem-centered interviews with mothers and fathers of preschool-age children. After examining terminology and current findings in educational style research concerning the genesis and effects of educational styles, Sylva Liebenwein dedicates the empirical part of the study to presenting, discussing, and interpreting the milieu-specific results in light of existing findings.
