How do decision-makers in politics and business organize majorities? What are the differences between the requirements for leadership styles, instruments, and techniques? Which power resources characterize the respective leadership? What consequences can be drawn from this for qualification and further training in politics and business? These questions are the focus of this comparative study. The respective leadership rationales are systematically developed. Political and economic elites communicate, act, and decide very differently. In addition, the demands on leadership have changed dramatically. The study provides perspectives for an application-oriented communication of the new requirements for leadership practice.
