The subjective perceptions of learners have hardly been taken into account in the design of educational measures in the political and economic field so far. This book provides insight into the thought processes of female students regarding globalization. The topic of globalization is particularly suitable from a didactic perspective for integrating various economic and political learning areas. Based on empirical findings, suggestions are made for designing a pluralistically oriented socio-economic education that can enhance the democratic agency of female students.
