Theories, as the premise from which this presentation is derived, should not simply be understood as a collection of concepts and statements about the world. Rather, they must be understood and presented as attempts to respond to specific reference problems. Therefore, the introduction places particular emphasis on accurately reconstructing the problem context of the various theoretical contributions, deriving the central concepts of each theory from this problem context, and clearly marking the shifts in problems that arise when transitioning from one approach to another. The author's goal is to not only present the different theories in this way but also to provide insight into the respective methodology of theory construction.
