The manual "Europe in North Rhine-Westphalia" showcases the European political structures within the state, thereby providing greater transparency. It presents around 1,000 actors from North Rhine-Westphalia who are dedicated to the topic of Europe. The new edition offers a complete update of the data and has been expanded to include additional areas. The data is systematically organized by policy areas. Each area is preceded by a scientific article discussing the connections between the regional and supranational levels. These articles take into account all changes brought about by the Lisbon Treaty and the new funding programs of the Union. The complex web of relationships between North Rhine-Westphalia and the European Union is unraveled and systematized by this manual. This publication can be used as a tool for information and for establishing collaborations by the actors engaged in European politics in North Rhine-Westphalia.
