The philosopher José Ortega y Gasset has outlined the fundamentals of a social pedagogy for the Spanish-speaking world in his work on social pedagogy as a political program. This publication, which is being translated into German for the first time, serves as a starting point for the renaissance of an understanding of social pedagogy against the backdrop of current societal upheavals in Europe and worldwide.
