The Delphi study aims to develop an expert forecast regarding future higher education didactic competency requirements for university teachers. So far, there have been few studies or empirical surveys on higher education didactic competencies for the qualification of academic teaching staff within the framework of the Bologna Process. This volume captures and documents current and future developments. Furthermore, a new higher education didactic competency model is being developed, which can serve as a basis for creating a new approach to assessing the continuing education needs at universities.
