This textbook addresses the fundamentals of corruption and anti-corruption policy in the first part, including definitions of corruption, its forms, consequences, and causes, as well as the issue of measurability. Additionally, corruption is presented as a subject of (political) scientific research, and the fight against corruption is discussed as a topic within policy field research. The second part introduces the theme of "Corruption and Public Administration." Corruption is illustrated in contrast to various administrative models. Following this, the causes of corruption in administration and the impact of corruption on different administrative areas, as well as various aspects of combating corruption in public administration, are addressed. The third part provides an overview of international and supranational anti-corruption policy in Europe.
