Intensively, the generation of the Internet is being discussed. Young people are considered to be broadly connected through digital media and always reachable via mobile phones. They also extensively use internet television and digital music. When they become politically active, they organize this online. The thesis is that community building is particularly important for young adults, especially in and through media. But is this image really accurate? Are young people truly oriented in such a way when it comes to their communicative networking? This book explores these questions based on two years of research with adolescents and young adults aged 16 to 30.
