The social space analysis has become an integral part of social work. In numerous institutions and projects, social spatial analysis and participation methods are practically applied and implemented. These qualitative methods were developed as part of a social spatial concept development, particularly in open child and youth work, and are increasingly being used in other areas of social work, including socially oriented youth welfare planning. The book provides theoretical foundations and presents current methods for various fields of social work: from child and youth work to childcare facilities, regional working groups in youth welfare, the integration of schools, and senior citizen work. It also includes specific methods for large groups or social reporting, addressing the relationship between the virtual and the real.
