New organizational theoretical positions in professional research suggest redefining the relationship between educational action and organizational school structure. The tension-filled and contradictory definition of educational professionalism and the school as an administrative form of organization is currently being discussed and increasingly redefined. This volume summarizes the current discourse and opens up the perspective for a revision of the school as an organization amid existing uncertainties and new visions of feasibility.
