How can families be more involved in the support process than has been customary? Resource-oriented network moderation is a promising approach in counseling and moderation work to plan and facilitate informal network meetings in social work settings in a way that focuses on the individual and social resources of families as guiding and goal-oriented. This introductory book conveys the essential competencies necessary for guiding and managing such social pedagogical family work. An illustrative and exemplary Hamburg pilot project is presented, which has tested the implementation of resource-oriented network moderation within the framework of social pedagogical family support.
