Product details
The development paths of San Diego are influenced by the social, cultural, and economic diversity of the two areas, San Diego and Tijuana. This diversity has today evolved into a resource for hybridizations. Hybrid studies view culture as a process in which the familiar and the foreign mutually influence and condition each other. Through qualitative methods, the biographies of the hybrid border metropolis are traced, and the social construction of (border) space is examined from a new perspective. This perspective is complemented by an analysis of the media presence of San Diego and Tijuana.
