Product details
Franziska Eisenhuth examines in this qualitative interview study the living situations of elementary school children who live in Germany with an uncertain residency status alongside their parents. The situation of these children is understood as being shaped by a specific structural discrimination. The analysis is conducted from the perspective of a power-critical interpretation of the justice-theoretical Capabilities Approach as proposed by Martha Nussbaum. This allows for the children to be understood as subjects of justice, who have the right to realize themselves.
