Everyday human coexistence in modern (not only) Western societies is characterized by a profound and comprehensive mediatization. Media play an increasingly significant role in the communicative construction of reality, primarily by influencing not only the content of communication but also the forms of communication and the communicative as well as societal actions. Media are also becoming independent actors in the field of internal security, paying attention to the safety of their clients and actively working in their interest. Furthermore, media act as activators, entertainingly encouraging their clients to adhere to regulations or to participate in the work of the media in moderation. We are witnessing a profound mediatization of security policy.
