Biographies are generally considered a space for processing uncertainties. Friedericke Hardering demonstrates that within the new constellation of uncertainties, which is significantly shaped by processes of precarization and subjectification of work, the biography can no longer serve as a place for integrating uncertainty, as it is itself co-opted by new constraints of design within the framework of the economization of biography.
