Currently, the contribution of case work to professionalization, particularly in the area of a more research-oriented teacher education, is highly regarded. By positioning case work as a reflective practice at the intersection of theoretical consideration and practical action, new options for linking theory and practice emerge. The book describes different approaches to case work in relation to various fields of action. It provides guidance on fundamental questions and develops theoretical and methodological perspectives. A focus of the presentation is on subject didactic work within teacher education.
