Nowhere else do such magnificent high alpine impressions and so many peaks over 4,000 meters come together in such a small area as in the Valais Alps. Three major circular routes bring us close to these spectacles. The Monte Rosa tour, which includes famous paths like the Europaweg and the Grächener Höhenweg, has long been regarded as a classic. Following this model, a circuit around the Matterhorn was designed a few years ago, which naturally involves much more than just the Horu. Once again, you will get to know various valleys on both the Swiss and Italian sides, along with their astonishing contrasts. The third trek presented, the Tour des Combins, may be somewhat less known, but it is no less interesting.
