I wonder why all the people are smiling today. They smile in the city center, they smile at the Hauptwache, they smile while eating ice cream, they smile on the escalator, they smile on the S-Bahn, they smile at the bus stop. Then I realize that it is not they who are smiling; it is I who am smiling. They are just responding to me.
