Product details
Gustav Meyrink (1868-1932) grew up in Prague, among other places, and repeatedly made the equally romantic and dark city the setting for his stories. This is also true for the novel "Walpurgis Night," published in 1917, which depicts the unfortunate love between the violinist Ottokar and the noblewoman Polyxena, who must increasingly fight for their love until their fate is fulfilled on the titular Walpurgis Night.
