The book, designed by the Swiss artist duo, brings together in 150 full-page, mostly colour illustrations works from the Equilibres series from 1984 and 1987, a large part of which has remained unpublished to date. Over a hundred of the photographs were previously unknown. They were taken during the time of their film "Der Lauf der Dinge" (1987), an artistic experimental arrangement of a chain reaction. The photo series presents constructions made of vegetables, furniture or kitchen utensils, which are brought into a breathtakingly unstable balance and, together with the allusive titles (Natural Grace, The Judge and his Executioner, The Fart, Modern Woman in Tehran, The Power of the Invisible, Is Madness Upon Us? ...), look like touchstones of the conceptual world. "They are as precarious and mysterious as all the traces of the human race they depict.
