2096: Earth has successfully established a colony on Mars. However, a war for independence breaks out: while the Martians condemn predatory capitalism, the red planet is seen as an autocracy back on Earth. The only connection for nearly a century: the cargo ship Maearthr. To revive the friendship between the planets, Mars sends a group of teenagers to Earth - including Louying, the granddaughter of the Martian ruler. In 2196, the group returns after five years on Earth. But their time there has changed their perspective. They rise up, initially using the peaceful means of art, but then the protests escalate. Where does Louying stand? Can she prevent a bloodbath?.
