Excited and expectant, we looked into the future back then! Join us in reminiscing about the first 18 years of life - your childhood and youth! Born in 1949, it was a childhood with hedgehog shoes on rubble-strewn streets and ration cards in Mom's household budget. We grew up with FRÖSI and the Digedags, Professor Flimmrich and Master Needle's Eye. Petticoats, Dederon shirts, and NATO tarpaulins accompanied us to the beat. Our childhood and youth knew the Oxenhead, the Wall, and the West Package. The Lipsi tried to keep up with the Twist, just as the East tried to keep pace with the West - and we were right in the middle of it all.
