Remember your childhood and youth with us! Our start in life was under a rather unfortunate star: We were children of war, and our hometown Solingen lay in ruins. Nevertheless, we grew up in simple circumstances, somewhat carefree. Our families, as well as the churches, provided us with support. Gradually, things began to improve. Over time, a decent amount of prosperity arrived at the Wupper. And we were right in the middle of it: We read comics, wore petticoats and Elvis hairstyles. We cheered for Herbert Schade and experienced our first kiss at the Monopol cinema. It was an exciting time in many ways...
