Born in 1933 - children during the war, hungry, freezing, yet full of hope for a better future. We have many memories. Of fathers at the front, the fear for their lives, the destruction of our cities and homes, the dangers from low-flying aircraft. We remember the end of the war, the first chewing gum, and a future that could only be better than what we had just experienced. And we reflect on a youth that was initially difficult, but then beautiful and full of hope.
