Tradition met revolution, and a unique youth culture emerged. We remember zinc bathtubs and scoldings from teachers, rubber skipping games and sewing books, Fury and family guesthouses, but also the first record player, beat nights, and the birth control pill, colorful hippie fashion, and the music from the Beatles to Jimi Hendrix.
