Born in 1987, we are accompanied by Pampers and strollers through our toddler years. With Disneyland and Dragonball, we enter elementary school. In our teenage years, it’s all about McFit and hacky sack. Where have we arrived? Where will we go? 'Lay your ear on the tracks of history,' sings 'Freundeskreis,' and when we place our ear on the tracks of history, we hear the cheers of the Germans as the wall falls, but we also hear the cries of horror as the towers of the World Trade Center collapse. And amidst this global turmoil, we grow up.
