Excited and full of anticipation, we looked to the future back then. Join us in reminiscing about the first 18 years of life - your childhood and youth! Born in 1999, we represent a turning point in time, leaving behind the old, analog millennium and stepping into the new, digital era. Our story continued with such milestones. We were two when the terrorist attacks in New York changed the world, and five when Mark Zuckerberg founded the social network Facebook. Thus, we grew up in a world where everyone was always online and reachable. As children, we celebrated the German football summer fairy tale, and as teenagers, we cheered for the World Cup title in 2014 in Brazil. Through the incredible enthusiasm around us, we learned that any goal can be achieved if you just believe in it wholeheartedly.
