Perhaps one could call "Warten Vergessen" a report - but at most a report on something that cannot be reported. It deals with paradoxes, with the remembering that would simultaneously be forgetting, with presence that is also absence, and with union that threatens to become division. This extreme book, in which there is hardly any room left for action, attempts to make the stillness of time palpable, tangible, and relatable.
