And lo and behold, not only large wild animals like lions and bears can get angry; even exceptionally gentle creatures can become furious. How does this happen? The squirrel jumps around wildly when it sees its nest threatened by a bird of prey, chattering and hissing loudly. The bee dives at the honey thief, and when a cat wanders through the garden, the songbirds flutter and chirp excitedly around it, warning their fellow birds.
