This work addresses the question of the best leadership style. The author assumes from the outset that there cannot be a single best leadership style. The paper focuses on the many fundamental aspects that make the discussion about leadership styles so complex. Additionally, it specifically examines the issues of leadership styles in vocational higher education schools. The aim of the work is to substantiate the thesis proposed by the author in the research question and to prove it through a secondary analytical approach to the topic. As many aspects as possible will be reflected upon, despite the limited scope of the work. It is particularly important for the author to highlight the role of the school principal as a distinct form of leadership responsibility and to bring it to the forefront.
