There are moments when we all wish for them - the little escapes. Sometimes we just want to get away from it all. Then again, we feel a longing for distant places. Or we would like to be in a safe hideaway where no one can find us. Most of us dream of being able to say, "I'm off for a while." Very few of us can simply take a year off and leave everything behind to clear our heads and gain new insights. However, little escapes are possible for everyone. And necessary. To see and find happiness, we often need that little distance, which cannot be measured in days or kilometers, but rather in times and spaces where we can determine our own path and simply do things. In those moments, we shake everything off and redefine ourselves from a different perspective. Sometimes, the escape is moving forward.
