There is constant talk of fascism, often filled with disgust, sometimes trivializing it, and occasionally even with a more or less covert admiration. But who really knows what fascism was... or does it possibly still exist? Ultranationalism, racism and anti-Semitism, the totalitarian claim and violence, the dream of national rebirth – all elements of fascism are thoughtfully and skillfully portrayed. Strangely enough, given the subject matter, the book is not devoid of humor. "Thank you!" wrote Aftonbladet Kultur in Stockholm. And the Göteborgs-Posten adds: "What is fascism, anyway?" deserves a mass audience.
